HAVING JOBS TO OFFER ?

We have a host of young and able professionals looking for jobs:

We have drivers, hair-dressers and stylists, and insurance brokers.

We also have up-coming athletes who are in dire need of sponsorship.

Henry Kimani

Henry Kimani is a driver by profession. He went to Wings Driving School and underwent the whole course to be awarded a driving licence 5 years ago. Although Kimani has not been in paid employment, he has been a driver all along. Kimani drives his father’s car and has been undertaking errands especially taking his younger brothers and sisters to school and the occassional family outings. He exudes confidence and is willing to work anywhere all days of the week.

Thomas Chege

Thomas Chege is also a driver by profession. Chege went to Muchatha Primary School for his childhood education. After that he joined Parklands Secondary School for his secondary education and attained a Kenya   Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) . He attended the prestigious AA Driving School for his driving course and was awarded a Licence 6 (six) years ago. All along Chege has been a taxi-driver in Nairobi working both day and night and is well acquainted with the city roads and routes . He has also worked for multi-national organisations and embassies. Chege is only 27 years old and speaks fluent English and Kiswahili. He works with the least supervision.

Stephen Kiai

Stephen Kiai is an up-coming athlete. His career dates back to his days in secondary school. Kiai attended Cheleta Primary School in the present day Runda Estate. After his primary schooling, he joined Eastliegh High School for his secondary education. It was at Eastleigh that Kiai realised his talent and ventured into long distance running.

During his stay at Eastleigh High, Kiai competed on several events for his school and won himself certificates. After secondary school, he was unable to further to the university and thus his venture into the world of athletics somehow dwindled. However, all was not lost for Kiai who always had a dream of  becoming world champion. He has been training individually and competed in the just concluded national athletics meets. Kiai majors in the 5,000m and 10,000m races and competes along world class athletes as Paul Tergat and current national champion  Julius Gitahi. During the Olympic trials held at the Moi International Sports Complex Kasarani, Kiai was placed 5th in the 10,000m thus narrowly missing the mark to enable him to compete in Sydney. His best time has been 29:46:12 minutes.

Kiai believes he needs a lot of exposure and sponsorship and lots of time in training camps to attain world class timings. 28 year-old Kiai is married with a son and two daughters.

KEI-APPLE PLANTS: IDEAL FOR YOUR FENCE

Kei-apple is a thorny plant which when well maintained makes a formidable hedge. The plant has been widely used for fencing around Nairobi and the suburbs. The plant has proved ideal in keeping off thieves and is highly recommended. Due to the numerous thorns, not even small animals as rats or hens would penetrate through. This therefore proves that dogs or even people wouldn’t make through it, thus providing maximum security as burglary becomes more of a concern than luxury.

The plant will last as long as you wish and remains green even during dry spells when most other plants wither. Apart from its ideal security purposes, kei-apple is also green enough to make your compound more beautiful and attractive. And unlike other security measures as live wires or barbed wires which can be climbed over, it’s impossible to cut or pass through a hedge of kei-apple plants. For the best results, it’s recommended that you plant it in intertwined rows. The hedge matures in 3-4 years.
